Research Interests

Currently, my research focus encompasses modeling the interactions between noble metal plasmons and molecules. Strong coupling between the plasmon and molecules results in new states called polaritons. By modeling these interactions with a hybrid quantum/classical treatment, we can predict the degree of coupling as well as give insight to the transition dipole angle and distance of the molecule from the surface of the plasmon.
